The cabinet features the Maxi-Lifter opening (Type 1942), designed to accommodate virtually all domestic sewing machines, both modern and older models, providing exceptional versatility and future-proof compatibility.

For intelligent and accessible storage, the Nova XL includes transparent, removable door storage bins that are neatly recessed beneath the cabinet lid. The specially engineered angled door system offers enhanced lid support while allowing fabrics to drape naturally without snagging or disturbing the contents of the storage bins—ideal when handling large or delicate projects.

Exclusive to this model is a sturdy rear support work area, designed to prevent needle drag when sewing larger items such as quilts or curtains. This additional support significantly reduces strain on the neck and shoulders during extended sewing sessions. The rear extension lifts easily when required and folds down compactly when not in use, ensuring it does not occupy unnecessary space. A robust double gate-leg design provides maximum stability and dependable support at all times.

Because the cabinet is designed by/for quilters, the Nova XL is fitted with the Maxi-Air-lift is ideal for supporting the much larger machines out there such as: Pfaff Icon, Bernina 700 & 800 Series, Brother V Series, Janome Horizon Range, Husqvarna Epic.

And all other smaller domestic products fit perfectly with the custom cut insert.
