This page explains how Click & Collect works when placing an order with Sew Devine through our website.
Where Click & Collect is available, it allows you to place an order online and collect it from our shop in Reading once we have confirmed that your order is ready.

Click & Collect allows you to order selected products through our website and collect them from our shop instead of having them delivered.
This can be useful if you would prefer to collect your order in person, avoid waiting for delivery, or speak to us when collecting your items.
Click & Collect availability may depend on the product, stock availability, order value, payment method and whether the item is available at our shop.

Please do not travel to collect your order until we have confirmed that it is ready for collection.
If Click & Collect is available for your order, you may be able to select it at checkout.
Once your order has been placed, we will process it as quickly as reasonably possible.
We will contact you when your order is ready for collection.
Please wait for confirmation before visiting the shop, as your order may not be ready immediately after checkout.
Payment for Click & Collect orders is usually made online at the time you place your order.
We use PayPal to securely process payments made through our website.
At checkout, customers may be able to pay using PayPal, PayPal Pay Later or Pay in 3 where available and eligible, or debit card and credit card payments processed through PayPal.
Your order will not usually be prepared for collection until payment has been received and cleared.

We aim to prepare Click & Collect orders as quickly as reasonably possible during our normal working hours.
Orders placed outside our normal working hours, at weekends or on bank holidays may not be processed until the next working day.
Some items may take longer to prepare, especially larger items, higher-value products, sewing machines, overlockers, embroidery machines, cutting machines, cabinets, special-order items or items that need to be checked before collection.
If there is a delay with your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

If someone else is collecting your order on your behalf, please contact us before collection where possible.
We may ask you to confirm the name of the person collecting the order.
The person collecting may need to provide the order confirmation, order number and proof of identity.
We reserve the right to refuse collection if we are not satisfied that the person collecting has permission to collect the order.
Please check your order when you collect it, especially if it includes multiple items, accessories, parts, free gifts or special-order items.
If anything appears missing, incorrect or damaged, please let us know as soon as reasonably possible so we can investigate and put things right where needed.
For sewing machines and larger items, we recommend keeping all packaging, accessories, manuals and paperwork supplied with the product.
Please collect your order as soon as reasonably possible after we confirm that it is ready.
If you are unable to collect within a reasonable time, please contact us so we know what is happening.
If an order remains uncollected for a long period, we may contact you using the details provided with your order.
Where appropriate, we may cancel the order and refund any payment due, unless the item is personalised, specially ordered, made to your specification, or otherwise not suitable for cancellation or refund under the circumstances.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer buying online, you usually have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
You can usually cancel from the time you place your order until 14 days after the day you collect the goods.
To cancel, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You can do this by email, telephone, post, or by using the cancellation form on our Returns & Cancellations page.
Some items cannot usually be cancelled or returned for change of mind unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
If your Click & Collect order is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may ask you to provide photographs, packaging details, serial numbers or other information to help us investigate the issue.
Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in line with your legal rights.
This may include repair, replacement, refund or another suitable remedy depending on the circumstances.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Click & Collect orders can only be collected during our shop opening hours.
Please check our website or contact us before travelling if you are unsure of our current opening times, especially around bank holidays, exhibitions, special events or seasonal periods.
We may occasionally be unable to offer collection at certain times due to staff availability, stock preparation, events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
