The Janome HD9 is the latest addition to Janome’s Professional Series, delivering true industrial-quality performance in a refined domestic format. Designed as a dedicated straight stitch machine, the HD9 features a robust aluminium body and an extended arm, providing 50% more working space than standard machines—ideal for large-scale and precision-focused sewing.
At its core, the HD9 is an electronic powerhouse, driven by a high-performance motor capable of sewing up to 1,600 stitches per minute, offering speeds up to twice that of most domestic machines. Its flatbed configuration makes it exceptionally well suited for demanding applications such as home furnishings, bridal wear, tailoring, and quilting, where control, speed, and stitch consistency are paramount.
The HD9 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced features, including industrial-grade tension control, variable presser foot pressure, a built-in needle threader, knee lifter, speed control lever, and a needle up/down memory function. Dual LED lights provide excellent visibility, while the unique automatic thread cutter ensures clean, professional seam finishes.
